Optical Forum News and Editor’s Perspective
Healthy Vision Month
Today is May the third, it is World Press Freedom Day. Today we remember all those journalists who lost their lives in the pursuit of a story. Today we show our gratitude to those journalists who risk their lives every day to bring us real news. Freedom of the press constitutes the fourth pillar of democracy. Therefore, at Optical Forum, we make our best to ensure enhanced literacy, transparency, and economic viability of sharing content through the internet and social media.
Last month the articles “Sports Eye Safety”, “Eggs and Eye Health”, and “Smoking and Eye Health” addressed the issue of healthy vision and the importance of regular comprehensive eye tests to check for common vision problems and eye disease. People eat healthily and often forget that taking care of their eyes is as important as a healthy diet. A regular eye exam ensures patients will enjoy the perfect vision correction and identifies eye diseases and any early eye-related systemic diseases as well.
When we think of healthy eyes we think of regular eye exams and we think of quit smoking, wear 100% UV blocking sunglasses, maintain a healthy diet, workplace eye safety, lose weight, wash hands before handling contact lenses, reducing digital screen time, as well as knowing your family’s eye health history. In April we published Optical Forum Blog Flipbook Issue 2 and we posted subjects related to eye health, marketing, and strategy. Entrepreneurship through acquisition subjects received most interactions among followers. The “Answer & Insights” section provided plenty of insights to both followers and us.
During May new original content will be posted on daily basis and we invite readers to frequently participate and engage by commenting on posts and through the “Answer & Insights” section in Instagram stories. We will launch a new Issue of Optical Forum Blog Flipbook that will include most read posts and where the “Answer & Insights” section answers will be featured.
We will be accommodating new editors. This month’s topics will revolve around Healthy Vision along with other topics of entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, etc…
We appreciate and love to include your write-up on the said topics. Therefore, we invite every one of you to share his or her story with Optical Forum. Discuss your insights become an author and get heard. You are all invited to accompany us in this journey by sharing your insights, stories, posts, and articles at feedback@opticalforum.com or by filling the form at https://opticalforum.space/contribute/
